THEY have been described as one of the UK’s most exciting bands – and they’re coming to Southampton.
London four-piece Childhood will unleash their psychedelic brand of dream pop at Lennon’s nightclub on Thursday.
They’ve come a long way since Ben Romans Hopcraft and Leo Dobsen formed the foundations of Childhood at Nottingham University.
They came together over a shared love of psychedelic and guitar music, but later added Daniel Salamons and Jonny Williams to the line-up.
The band have just finished a sold-out tour with Temples and are due to release new single Falls Away on May 26.
It follows their three previous single releases – Blue Velvet, Solemn Skies and Pinballs.
The Lennon’s performance completes an 11-date debut headlining tour of the country.
Their appearance is part of the popular Psychedelia night in Southampton. Tickets are on sale now.
