FESTIVAL season is fast approaching and one of Hampshire’s rising weekenders has announced its Saturday headliner.
Dublin duo Hudson Taylor will top the bill on the Saturday night of Festibelly, which takes place in the New Forest on July 11 and 12.
The group, consisting of brothers Harry and Alfie, are on the verge of a big breakthrough and supported rock ‘n’ roll gods the Rolling Stones at Hyde Park last year.
The brothers hope to follow in the footsteps of the festival’s previous exciting acts including Bastille, Ghostpoet, and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.
Hudson Taylor join a stellar line-up for this year’s event including reggae legend David Rodigan, Skinny Lister, Dems Wild Smiles, Mighty Oaks, and Femme.
Over six years, Festibelly has established itself as one of the UK’s most charming, intimate and grassroots festivals.
This year’s event will feature a brand new bar stocked with festival tipples – from craft ales to cocktails – and a new dining experience will be offered for those wanting to get off their feet and indulge in an extravagant three-course feast prepared and hosted by a range of New Forest firms.
A series of Festival warm-up events will take place across Hampshire in May including at the Thomas Tripp in Lymington on May 17, and the Orange Rooms in Southampton on May 26.
