THE Bournemouth crowd loved Ella Eyre from the minute she bounded into the public's view.
High energy, big hair and a huge stage personality packed into such a tiny body frame, Miss Eyre is definitely a girl's girl with attitude as she rocks the stage at the O2 Academy Bournemouth.
With a lion wearing a crown emblazoned onto the back of the stage and two more projected onto the ceiling, you get the impression that the images are a beautiful metaphor for Ella herself.
Wearing leather-look trousers and a black see-through top, jumping around in front of a live band, she gives off the aura of bring a tough, feisty cookie.
Back that up with tracks such Bullet For You, Deeper, If I Go and Rudimental's Waiting All Night support this.
However, she's a mere 20-years-old and so some may expect her to falter, but she stays together and rocks every moment of the performance.
Particularly at the moment the audience spontaneously bursts into a standing ovation mid-set. Some pop stars would be keen to hush the crowd to continue sining, but Ella Eyre took a quiet moment to soak up all the affection and applause.
It's something that she may have to get used to in the future.
