PREVIOUS Children's Choir of the Year winners New Forest Children's Choir will be among 22 singing groups from across the South of England and The Channel Islands as they compete to scoop the title once again.
Basingstoke will be alive with music as the best singing groups from across the region converge on Sunday April 17 for the Choir of the Year 2016 auditions.
Singers aged from six to 90 will be performing diverse repertoire spanning classical and contemporary choral music, pop arrangements and songs from around the world in an action packed day – including the opportunity for audience members to sing along with renowned choral conductor Greg Beardsell.
The competition is the largest and most prestigious of its kind in the UK.
