SIMPLY Red continue their worldwide greatest hits tour with a stop at Bournemouth International Centre on Monday.
The tour comes on the back of the release of their definitive collection Simply Red: Greatest Hits 25 late last year and began with a sold out London 02 Arena gig.
The tour, which Mick Hucknall says will be Simply Red’s last, has already taken in Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Brazil, Mexico and America.
The first incarnation of the band was a punk group called The Frantic Elevators before becoming Simply Red, denoting Hucknall’s hair colour, support of Manchester United and political affiliation.
Hits include Money’s Too Tight To Mention, Fairground, Holding Back the Years, Stars and If You Don’t Know Me By Now.
Hucknall released his first solo album, Tribute to Bobby on May 19, 2008.
Russian superstar Valeriya provides support on Monday.
Limited seats remain. Call 0844 576 3000 or visit bic.co.uk.
