BLACKBUD play a south coast double bill in the week they release their much anticipated new self-titled album.
The critically lauded West Country three piece take to the stage at The Joiners on Tuesday and appear at Winchester’s Railway Inn on Thursday.
Prior to Blackbud, the band had already released the massively acclaimed debut Youth (The Verve, Primal Scream) produced Heartbeat EP, their David Bottrill (Muse, Peter Gabriel, Tool) produced debut album From the Sky and have toured and played shows with the likes of Elbow, The Kaiser Chiefs, Editors and Babyshambles.
They have already played Glastonbury four times and will be hitting the festival circuit after this headline tour.
Blackbud are Joe Taylor (guitar and vocal), Adam Newton (bass, backing vocals) and Sam Nadel (drums, backing vocals).
Tipped as one of the UK’s most exciting new bands, they actually formed in 2002 at the age of 16 and have an impressive back catalogue for ones so young.
