DELAYS fans will get a sneak live preview of the fourth studio album Star Tiger Star Aerial when the foursome perform a benefit gig in aid of the families of James Shears and Alan Bannon on Monday.
The Southampton indie band will showcase some of the tracks from the album, due out on June 21, at the special event at The Joiners, close to St Mary’s Fire Station where the hero firefighters served before dying in the line of duty at Shirley Towers.
The audience will also be treated to hits from the band’s three previous albums Faded Seaside Glamour, You See Colours and Everything’s The Rush by Greg, Aaron, Colin and Rowly.
Delays are supported by The Perils, Matt Ablard and Ian Easton.
• Tickets, priced £20, are on sale now at joinerslive.co.uk
