YOU could say Johannes Moller is officially the best guitarist in the world right now!
For he was recently awarded the top prize in the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition, which is widely recognised as the most important test in the guitar world.
Now he is coming to Eastleigh to perform in the latest of Southampton Classical Guitar Society’s highly acclaimed Celebrity Guitar Concert series.
The outstanding Swedish player will appear at The Point this Saturday at 8pm.
Over the past 20 years, the society has brought many top guitarists to the area to help promote the art of the instrument and this time they believe they have pulled out a trump card.
After studying in his native Sweden, Moller came to England where he studied at the Royal College of Music, graduating as a Bachelor of Music with Honours.
He completed his Masters degree at Royal Conservatoire in The Hague in Holland.
Since then he has won countless prizes and taken the classical guitar world by storm, impressing audiences the world over with his virtuosity, musicianship and outstanding technique.
