AFTER the success of last year’s Twelve Days of Christmas, Woolly Hat Fair has announced details of this year’s festival Fondly Imagined Christmases, a series of pop-up outdoor performances and visual art installations across Winchester.

Hear a range of heart-warming stories based on local people and places and enjoy songs from local choirs and festive refreshments during a series of free events.

The festival kicks off on November 30 on the Winchester Discovery Centre Terrace with Stocking Filler, a unique promenade performance inspired by unforgettable moments of Christmases past.

Legally Christmas is a comical court case like no other taking place at Shentons Solicitors on December 1 and 8.

Everyone is invited to a party at Newbury Building Society on December 2 and 9. The Newburys are throwing a Christmas party – pop round for some festive games and seasonal customs.

Audiences can meet the Christmas Lighthouse-Keeper who helps to guide lost travellers home on December 15 and 22.

Video installations of Winchester’s most colourful characters will be shown at a walk through exhibition of Living Portraits at The United Church on December 16.

In the Cathedral Outer Close, Celestial Sound Cloud: Sounds Like Christmas will be lighting up the sky on December 20 and 21.
