FOLLOWING a massively successful 2008 Ed Byrne is returning to the south coast with his critically acclaimed Different Class.
The show examines how out of place Ed feels within society. He doesn’t understand the youth of today, older people annoy him.
He doesn’t know whether he prefers the middle or working class either. His recent marriage, his exasperation at the class system and any other humorous topic he’s encountered are brought to life on stage in only the way Ed can.
This current tour comes straight off the back of the success of previous tour Standing Up And Falling Down which again sold out across the UK and also saw success in Australia and New Zealand.
He’s becoming one of Britain’s most recognisable comedians. He has become a regular on smash-hit comedy panel shows such as Mock The Week and Eight Out Of Ten Cats. He’s also broken in to radio, making numerous Radio 2 and 4 appearances as well as having his own radio sitcom in the pipeline.
With a book out soon too the career of Ed Byrne seems set to continue to soar.
He appears at The Anvil on February 17 and at Southampton Guildhall on the 22 before hitting Portsmouth’s New Theatre Royal on the 27 and Salisbury City Hall on March 7.
