FOLLOWING the success of his last biking adventure from Sydney to Tokyo, intrepid actor, traveller and author Charley Boorman is taking a break from trekking around the world and staying a little closer to home.

But he hasn’t lost the travelling bug just yet. The King of the Road will instead by touring the UK and Ireland with a brand new live show, which arrives at Southampton Guildhall on March 26.

Other local dates include Bournemouth’s Pavilion Theatre on March 4 and The Anvil in Basingstoke on March 25.

The star of TV’s Long Way Round, Long Way Down, Race To Dakar and By Any Means journeys will be live on stage for an evening of chat and anecdotes from his worldwide escapades.

The show is accompanied by some new video foot-age from his trips on a giant screen.

The modern adventurer is constantly in pursuit of challenges and his two-wheeled exploits have been followed by fans across the world.

The Charley Boorman Live Show recounts some of the times he has put his endurance to the test for some truly awe-inspiring experiences.

Charley’s special guest on the show is Simon Pavey, the Dakar Rally veteran who will tell the inside story of the highs and lows of working with Charley on Race to Dakar.
