WHY on earth is Cheryl Cole an X Factor judge?
Don’t get me wrong, I like the girl. But even her biggest fan surely would have tired of her by the end of last weekend.
Every where you looked on TV, there she was.
I half expected her to pop up in the Rovers Return such was her dominance of the ITV schedule what with the X Factor overload we are subjected to every weekend and her tearful interview with Piers Morgan.
Anyone unfortunate enough to have witnessed her appalling appearance on Sunday’s X Factor results show is perfectly entitled to wonder quite what gives her the right to judge the performances of the contestants.
It was truly dreadful.
Now it appears she isn’t the only one who mimes on the show, devaluing the whole programme.
I’m afraid, with a judge like that, a show which was once a forward thinking new approach to talent spotting is quickly becoming irrelevant.
