ENOUGH of the painful reunions please!

As if the tosh on TV featuring real families who have hated each other for the past 50 years – and Davina McCall or Holly Willoughby crying at their gettogether for good measure – isn’t bad enough, we’re being subjected to a televised reunion of a 90s band that weren’t even any good the first time around.

I’m all for a bit of nostalgia when it comes to the Stone Roses, Pulp and especially Take That.

But the tenth reincarnation of the Sugababes, grown-up Atomic Kitten and Steps giving it the cowboy dance decades on, I can live without.

And there’s already trouble in paradise for the latest lot 5ive, who are currently four it seems.

Ritchie, Abz, Scott and Sean are getting back together for ITV2 show The Big Reunion, without fifth member J.

It sounds a laugh, I must admit. Apparently Ritchie is talking like an Aussie after years spent down under and other members of the band are missing their former lives as estate agents and bar workers.

But isn’t the clue in the name?

If there’s not five of you, and that was the entire premise of the band, perhaps it’s time to go back to the day job.
