THIS year’s Kings Theatre Southsea pantomime Sleeping Beauty will see the return of Home and Away soap star Lynne McGranger and Come Dine With Me star Christopher Marlowe.
Lynne, pictured, was last welcomed to the Kings in 2010 when she played Witch Blackweed in Jack and the Beanstalk to rave reviews.
Lynne returns to the Kings stage this year to play the villain everyone loves to hate, wicked fairy godmother Carabosse.
Christopher Marlowe is also set to star in the show, which runs from December 11 to January 5, 2014. Chris is a pantomime veteran having appeared in 24 Christmas pantomimes. This year he plays larger than life character, Queen Gertie the Gorgeous, Sleeping Beauty’s mother.
Christopher is a familiar face at the Kings having performed numerous times with New Apollo Theatre Company as well as filming part of his triumphant Come Dine With Me episode there.
