ONE of The Point’s associate artists is heading to Glastonbury with a showcase of dance.

Under the guidance of Zoie Golding, all-male company ZoieLogic Dance will perform their latest piece at the Somerset music extravaganza.

A delighted Zoie said: “I submitted the application to appear at the festival, which included a video of our work, not expecting to hear anything for a while but heard back within an hour, which is fantastic.”

ZoieLogic dancers Sam Cook, Luke Brown and James Adams will take it in turns to perform MurMur, a thought-provoking duet for two dancers entwined around a pivoting sand tower three times a day over three days.

MurMur is designed as a standalone 15-minute performance that goes into male dominated environments to challenge the perceptions of male dance and has already been performed at scrapyards, factories and even a naval base.
