THE Chesil Theatre is concluding its successful season with the post-war comedy, Home and Beauty. Set directly after the Great War in 1918, it follows the story of socialite Victoria, and her dealings following the death of her husband, William, in combat.
After marrying his best friend Frederick, Victoria is shocked when William returns alive and well, albeit a little forgetful of his whereabouts from the past year.
With each man eager to surrender Victoria to the other, and the beauty herself battling the affections of another love interest, the play promises to deliver good humour and plenty of belly laughs.
The production runs from tonight to Saturday July 13.
