POCKET Theatre returns to Hanger Farm Arts Centre with its first foray into the world of musical theatre as Fame takes to the stage next week.
The company, which has made a name for itself with innovative smallscale productions, comprises a dozen talented young performers who have made their names with the region’s youth theatres and colleges and between them have racked up a host of Daily Echo Curtain Call awards.
Under the direction of talented 19 year-old Natalie Thorn, who takes up a place at Guildford School of Acting in September, the show features a host of young performers making their way into the professional world of musical theatre.
Natalie said: “Working on a show like this has been a dream come true for me! The cast have been fantastic to work with and rehearsals have been so much fun.”
The musical director is Nick Rew.
The show runs nightly at 7.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday and at 5pm and 8pm on Friday, August 2 at the Hanger Farm Arts Centre in Totton.
Tickets: 023 8066 7683.
