n THE biblical story of Joseph, son of Jacob, is coming to The Bournemouth International Centre from Tuesday. Starring Ian ‘H’ Watkins from Steps as the favoured son, it tells the story of how he is betrayed by his jealous brothers and sold into slavery and driven to Egypt. Despite adversity, Joseph perseveres through wit and faith and becomes the governor of Egypt, second only to the Pharaoh. The Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice collaboration is also full of classic songs such as Those Canaan Days, Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door To Me.

n COMBINING Cirque style acrobatics, dance and music, Aquaria is a show that will appeal to all ages. The deep sea fairy tale tells the story of Aquaria who gathers her subjects to celebrate a feast of the four elements – fire, water, earth and air – in a contest to offer a gift to the deep sea goddess.

When her beloved Dana is stolen by sailors the goddess rises up and calls her army and the elements to fight against the intruders and to free Dana.

Aquaria continues at BIC until August 24.
