Mother Goose is mother to Jill and Billy - in exchange for his mother's market produce, simpleton Billy receives Priscilla the goose.

Oh, dear! Billy's mum is not best pleased. Still, after Priscilla lays the first of many golden eggs the family's life is turned around. Mother Goose goes slightly off the rails but eventually she is restored to her former self; Jill meets and falls for, Jack, while Billy has his own true love, Polly.

An exceptionally talented make-up artist created a demonic face for Demon Discontent and a comic one for Mother Goose. While live music and creative lighting enhanced the whole show did suffer from occasional distortion to the sound. Directed by Tania Perkins, this was a warm-hearted production full of traditional panto fun.
