FANS of a 1980s musical can see a production at a Hampshire theatre this week.
Hampshire drama group STP Musical are putting on their roller blades and trainers for their production of Footloose from tonight until Saturday (August 28 to 30).
The much-loved film that launched the career of Kevin Bacon sees Ren adjusting to small town life after moving with his mother from Chicago.
What he isn’t prepared for are the local laws – including a ban on dancing – which are the brainchild of a local preacher bent on exercising control over the town’s youth.
STP Musicals are happy to be returning to Ferneham Hall, Fareham, following past successes with Cats and Starlight Express.
Evening performances are at 7.30pm with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm.
For tickets (£10 to £12) contact the box office on 01329 231942 or visit www.fernehamhall.co.uk.
