A GRIZZLY tale has been transformed into a love story by students from a Southampton university.
About 30 students from Southampton Solent University have created four 20-minute episodes of Til Death, showing the psychopathic world of a handyman living in the sleepy wilds of Hampshire.
Adored by the elderly residents in the village, Steve has his dark secrets which include unleashing horrific revenge on those who cause him offence.
The arrival of Isabel next door causes him problems as his systematic world is turned upside down, although the pair eventually kindle a relationship once they uncover each other’s skeletons in the closet.
Black comedy is given out in spades in this drama for Solent TV, which includes tortuous scenes as Steve and Isabel conduct their violent murders.
Leading the cast are Jonny McPherson (Emmerdale fans will recognise him as Dr Carter) and Isla Carter. The show is broadcast on the university’s channel Solent TV.
