A GANG of marauding pirates has taken over The Point, Eastleigh, ahead of a swashbuckling adventure this Christmas.
Members of the Point Youth Theatre have been getting into character ahead of their production of Treasure Island.
And they caught front of house assistant Keith Dixon by surprise when they crept up on him in the box office, pictured.
Audiences are being urged to get set for fun on the high seas as we join young Jim Hawkins on a daring voyage across the seas and into battle against blustering buccaneers.
Anchored at The Point for one week only, this new production by The Point Youth Theatre, brings Robert Louis Stevenson’s swashbuckling novel thrillingly to life in all its sea-faring glory.
Reuniting the creative team behind The Snow Queen and The Wind in the Willows, this production promises to be a galleon full of gripping drama, spectacular action and sea shanties guaranteed to have families singing all the way home.
Treasure Island is perfect for scallywags aged five years and up and is performed from December 19 to 24 at various times. Tickets are £10 and £8 for concessions.
