ANOTHER fairytale, Beauty and the Beast, comes to The Point at Eastleigh from Thursday January 8.
Mountbatten Players present the most romantic pantomime ever. Filled with laughter and adventure, this promises to be a superb show for all the family.
Wonderful sets and costumes, and the only amateur panto in town with a real orchestra, Beauty and the Beast is set to be Mountbatten Players’ most spectacular show ever.
The show runs until Sunday January 11 and tickets are £10. Box office: 023 8065 2333 or visit thepointeastleigh.co.uk.
MEMBERS of Dynamo Youth Theatre have been hard in rehearsal over Christmas preparing for their show Bombed Out, which runs until tomorrow at New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth.
Bombed Out is a new musical, written by local composer John Gleadall, and is based upon war torn Portsmouth.
The show explores the fear of difference set against the backdrop of wartime, evacuation and friendships strained by class and nationality.
More than 60 11 to 16-year-olds are involved in the show and have learnt how to jitter bug like American G.Is and dance around the maypole.
Tickets are £8 and £6 from 023 9264 9000 or newtheatreroyal.com.
