THE summer holidays arrived early in Kings Worthy as the Worthy Players amateur drama group warmed up for their next show, Holiday Snap.
Written by Michael Pertwee and John Chapman, this comedy is set in a Portuguese timeshare villa where mayhem breaks out when two couples are inadvertently booked for the same week.
Heated exchanges take place as each couple mistakenly assume the other couple are their staff, completely confusing the local drinksodden time-share rep.
The temperature rises further when it emerges that neither couple are with their proper spouses and then, guess what, a fiery motherin- law turns up on the scene to check up on things.
These traditional comic ingredients provide a recipe for a lot of fun, and performances will be staged in the Jubilee Hall in Kings Worthy tonight and tomorrow and on May 15 and 16.
