IN WATERSIDE theatre Company’s latest sortie into Discworld all is not well in the Ankh-Morpork Opera House. A ghost stalks the dark corridors, leaving strange letters for the management….and killing people. Agnes (otherwise known as Perdita X) Nitt is worried – even more so when two familiar faces from Lancre arrive. Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg investigate and are soon involved in all kinds of skulduggery, mayhem and ear-splittingly loud singing.
Maskerade, adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs, is full of the endearing and amusing characters Terry Pratchett creates.
Waterside Theatre Company won the Daily Echo’s curtain call award for Production of the Year for their last Pratchett production.
• Maskerade is being performed at the Waterside Theatre in Holbury from Thursday to Saturday. Call 023 8084 8468 or visit watersidetheatrecompany.org.uk.
