UK Productions return to Bournemouth’s Pavilion Theatre this Christmas with a sparkling production of the family favourite pantomime Cinderella.
CBeebies favourite Chris Jarvis returns for his fifth year in panto and will be playing Buttons, Cinderella’s one true friend.
Former Coronation Street star Amanda Barrie, will play the Fairy Godmother. Chris and Amanda will be joined on the Pavilion stage by Tim Dixon, fresh from presenting CiTV’s Fingertips as Prince Charming and local radio presenter David Perry, who many will recognise from Heart FM’s breakfast show with Caroline Verdon, as Dandini.
In a far away kingdom Cinderella’s father has returned home, remarried and with two new wicked step-daughters. Cinderella is soon turned into her step-sisters’ slave.
Meanwhile, across town in the castle, Prince Charming is searching for a wife and invites every eligible maiden in the kingdom to a fancy dress ball, where he will be able to choose his bride.
Add to the story a Fairy Godmother, a pumpkin carriage, the stroke of midnight, a glass slipper, and the rest, as they say, is fairytale history.
Prepare yourself for a show packed with hilarious comedy, magical music and spectacular dance. UK Productions broke box office records with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs last Christmas.
• Cinderella runs from December 4 to January 2. For tickets, call 0844 576 3000 or visit bic.co.uk.
