WINCHESTER Cathedral’s Inner Close will be the striking location once again this summer for a season of outdoor theatre.
Illyria perform Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Romeo & Juliet on July 8.
They return for Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice on August 5 and 6 in the year the Cathedral has installed a new exhibition about the life of the celebrated novelist who is buried there.
Cambridge Touring Theatre will be romping through the Inner Close for Robin Hood and his merry men on August 29.
