BARRIBALL George James (Jim) Passed away peacefully on 27th September aged 93 years. Much loved Husband of Mary and father of Joanna. Funeral service at Southampton Crematorium, East Chapel, Friday 28th October 1.45 pm. No Flowers please. Donations to Southampton Sight or Missions to Seafarers c/o RC Payne & Sons, Bitterne Branch, SO18 5EJ or at the service.Tributes

Jim & Mary have been friends of my parents, John & Marjorie Smart - now sadly deceased - for decades and I became acquainted with the Barriballs through the Southampton Master Mariners' Club in Southampton.
Jim was such a friendly, kindly gentleman and will be missed.
I send my sincerest condolences to Mary and the family and hope that, in time, the happy memories you have of Jim will be of comfort to you.
