HARBUT (Née White) Carol Diane Loving wife to Ian, Mother to sons Nicholas and Robin and wives Sian and Helen. Beloved Grandma to Joseph, Carys, Daniel and Poppy. Died peacefully on 3rd May with Ian, Nicholas and Robin at her bedside. Funeral to take place on 30th May at 10:45 East Chapel Southampton Crematorium. Immediate family flowers only. Donations to Mountbatten Hospice West End. XXX

Carol was a gorgeous soul inside and out
who was beloved by so many and will be truly missed. Personally I will miss our curry nights with Geoffers which sadly haven't been able to happen for years instead replaced with long rambling chats covering a hundred topics each visit.
The belly laughs could be heard a mile away and we're fueled by tea (and sometimes toast) supplied by Ian who came in with his comments and that's when I could see the undying love, respect and humour you had for each other, which will never die and I aspire to have in my marriage as I believe that's been the key to 60 years of love and happiness you shared.
This has now become another of my ramblings but with a no swearing!
