BETTRIDGE John Laurence Retired Electronics Engineer, sadly died on 15th July 2024, aged 72 at Southampton General Hospital. He had endured difficult cancer treatment but was well cared for by the medical staff at Hamwic House and the new cancer ward D12. He is fondly remembered by all his family and friends for his kind support in the wide and various activities he was involved in. His hobbies included walking, sailing and model boats, Qigong, acting as a school governor for many years, as well as involvement with the Eastleigh Men's Shed. ---------------------- The remembrance ceremony will take place on Monday 12th August 2024 at 3.00 p.m. at South Downs Natural Burial Site, Droxford Road, Petersfield GU32 1HR followed by the committal. Please wear suitable footwear for rough ground. Flowers: Hand tied only.
