POLICE investigating an armed robbery at a Hampshire railway station returned to the scene of the crime today in the hope of tracing any witnesses.
The 64-year-old victim had just parked his car at Brockenhurst station last Wednesday when he was threatened by a man who appeared to be brandishing a handgun.
The robber forced him to drive to the HSBC bank in Brockenhurst, where he was told to withdraw a large sum of cash from an ATM.
Police say the victim was then forced to drive to Rhinefield Road, Brockenhurst, where he was ordered out of the car - a grey Porche 911 Carrera. The gunman drove off, later abandoning the vehicle.
Today, exactly one week after the robbery, British Transport Police officers returned to the station.
They spoke to motorists and handed out leaflets appealing for information.
