ENTRIES to Hampshire’s biggest 10k run have already topped 650 – with organisers hoping a record-breaking 3,000 will eventually take part.
The Eastleigh race, famously sponsored by B&Q, is taking place on March 24 – the 29th anniversary of the event.
Race organiser Steve Collins said: “We have never had so many entries so early, the fantastic summer of sport has led to many of us getting back into an activity we once loved and now it’s everyone’s turn to keep the Olympic legacy and feel-good factor going.
“So why not take up a sporting challenge and make a resolution to run the race, which is some 12 weeks after New Year.”
