A SOUTHAMPTON man has appeared in court in connection with the theft of wrapped presents during a burglary on Christmas Day.
The home on Defender Road was allegedly broken into in the early hours of December 25 and property including the presents, a computer and wine were stolen.
Carl Cheyne, 18, of no fixed abode, was charged with burglary on December 28. He appeared before Southampton Magistrates the following day and was remanded in custody to appear before Southampton Crown Court on January 21.
