TWO people needed stitches after a New Year's Day brawl at a Hampshire pub.
The fight broke out at the Seagull public house, in Cornaway Lane, Portchester.
It progressed from inside the pub to the car park.
At least two people were injured and required stitches - they are two Fareham men, aged 19 and 51.
A Portsmouth woman, 22, also suffered head butting injuries in the incident, which began around 0.40am.
A 26-year-old Fareham man was arrested on suspicion of attempted wounding with intent.
Another Fareham man, 19, was arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Both were bailed, pending further police inquiries, until February 25.
Detectives at Fareham are appealing for information from witnesses Call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
