A police hunt has been launched for two men who attacked and robbed a disabled man in Hampshire.
The 39-year-old was bundled to the ground and was repeatedly punched in the head before being robbed.
It happened in the early hours of Saturday after he bought some food from the night hatch at the Nisa shop on the Strand roundabout in Portsmouth.
As he walked towards Granada Road with the food in a blue carrier bag, he was approached from both sides by two men.
They grabbed him, bundled him to the floor and repeatedly punched him in the head before rifling through his pockets.
They took several items before walking away towards Waverley Road.
The offenders are described as aged between 20 and 30. One was tall and of large build. The second was shorter and stocky. At least one of the robbers was black.
Stolen items include a black older style Samsung mobile phone, a gold-coloured stainless steel bracelet, a set of house keys on a key ring with the name SEAN and an imitation black leather wallet with a Jack Daniels insignia.
The wallet contained £10 and a Lloyds TSB bank card.
The robbers also took a black backpack with a Fulham crest on the front.
This contained a pair of Red & Dead glasses in a black FCUK case, deodorant, aftershave and documents.
Detectives want to hear from anyone who witnessed the robbery or saw two men matching the offenders’ descriptions in the area of The Strand roundabout, Clarendon Road or Waverley Road.
They also want to hear from anyone who finds discarded items like the stolen articles.
Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Daisy Sharma at Fratton CID on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers charity line on 0800 555 111.
