HE is only 24 but Haskins Garden Centre’s new restaurant general manager says he has the recipe for growth.
Ben Harrison, who has just been promoted to the helm of the eatery at the West End branch, said: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to manage the restaurant.
“Since its £2.3m expansion over a year ago, it has become one of the most successful in the region.
“We hope, thanks to the size, to create more themes and events over the next year to really demonstrate the experience and capability offered by the 70-strong catering team.”
Mr Harrison joined the Haskins group as a restaurant supervisor at the Ferndown store and last year was promoted to restaurant manager.
Catering now contributes 20 per cent of the £31m turnover generated by the four centres owned by the family business.
