A thief stole a dozen bottles of French wine during a burglary.

The booze was taken along with tools and a Cannondale Synapse men's bike from an insecure garage.

Also stolen from a porch was a black Laura Ashley handbag and an Iphone 4S.

The burglary happened in Alvercliffe Drive in Gomer, Gosport, some time between 2.30pm and 4.40pm on Tuesday.
