Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Hampshire during which jewellery of sentimental value was stolen.

The incident occurred between 3.30pm and 8pm on Sunday, January 6 at a house in Francis Place, Havant.

Thieves stole a number of items of jewellery that were of great sentimental value to the victim including a pair of white pearl earrings, a white pearl bracelet, a white pearl necklace and a pearl necklace with pearls in four varied colours.

“I would ask anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of these items to come forward.
