HAMPSHIRE charity Open Sight has appointed a new fundraising manager.
The charity, which is based in Bishopstoke, near Eastleigh, and helps support more than 4,000 blind and partially sighted adults and children across the county, has recruited Malcolm Chewter to lead fundraising.
Working in the charity sector is nothing new for Malcolm, who has worked for charities across Hampshire for nearly 20 years.
Because the charity and its network of 23 clubs are staffed by volunteers, it depends entirely on legacies and fundraising to keep it running. This means Malcolm Chewter will play a vital role in ensuring that Open Sight can carry out its work.
