HOT property The Vaccines have become the latest high-profile act to pledge their support for Southampton’s iconic music venue The Joiners – with a benefit gig next week.
Tickets are expected to be snapped up immediately for Tuesday night’s date when a limited number go on sale from the Joiners website at 5.30pm today.
The remainder will be on sale from the venue at 7pm tomorrow and long queues are expected after Frank Turner’s benefit gig in December sold out in a record-breaking 90 seconds.
The gigs aim to secure the future of the legendary venue, which has previously showcased the talents of early Oasis, Coldplay and Green Day, after bosses admitted they were facing financial problems.
The Vaccines are currently flying high on the back of their 2012 second album Come of Age, the follow up to What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?
Justin Young, frontman of the indie rockers, grew up in Southampton.
