Surrey Police can confirm that a post mortem has taken place into the death of a 32-year-old man whose body was discovered in a wooded area in the Shottermill area of Haslemere.
The man has been identified as Grant Sandilands from the Southsea area of Hampshire.
Officers are not treating the death as suspicious and believe there was no third party involvement.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned.
Surrey Police was alerted to the discovery of a body by a member of the public at around 2.30pm on Friday, 11 January at Polecat Copse, off Lion Lane.
