Police have named the driver who died following a collision with a lorry in the New Forest.
Terry Hayward, 71, from Langdown Lawn, Hythe was driving a silver Nissan Note when he was in collision with a green Mercedes Actros 'tipper' lorry at a cross roads in Bramshaw.
He died at Southampton General Hospital the day after the collision on January 11.
The Nissan's front seat passenger, a 78-year-old man from Bodmin, Cornwall also had to be cut from the vehicle.
He was taken by ambulance to Southampton General Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
The rear passenger, a 65-year-old woman from Hythe, was also taken to SGH where she is receiving treatment.
The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicles prior to it, are asked to contact Sergeant Alex Rawdon-Smith at Totton Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Pennywort.
