A CHARGE of causing death by careless driving against a woman has been dropped.

Angela Rawson, 56, of Northmore Road, Locks Heath, had denied the charge earlier this month, and prosecutors offered no evidence at Portsmouth Crown Court yesterday.

She had been charged following the death of motorcyclist Marcus Lowbridge, 20, from Locks Heath, in Hunts Pond Road on March 10 last year.
