POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an ambulance responding to an emergency call was in collision with a car in the New Forest.
The incident happened between Everton Road and Old Christchurch Road, in Everton, at about 4.50pm yesterday.
A 20-year-old driver of a Citroen Saxo was taken to hospital with pelvis and leg injuries although the ambulance crew were unharmed. There were no patients on board at the time.
Police investigating the incident are keen to trace the drivers of two dark coloured saloons and a white van which were nearby shortly before the collision.
Anyone with information is asked to call Hampshire Constabulary Roads Police Unit on 101 quoting Operation Baritone.
