Teen arrested after fire at student flats
A TEENAGER has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire at a block of student flats last night.
The blaze, which broke out at about 10.30pm, started in a room at Southampton University’s Romero Hall in Archers Road.
The block was evacuated but the flames did not spread.
No-one was injured but police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses and information.
The 18-year-old man was arrested last night.
