WE might be in the middle of the coldest spell of the winter, but already thoughts are turning to the summer.
Leisure bosses are to spend £117,500 repairing a paddling pool in Eastleigh.
The pool, off Passfield Avenue, is leaking and the money will be spent laying a protective seal and replacing the non-slip surface round the outside.
The council, which agreed the scheme recently, plans to carry out the 12-week project ready for May 1 to ensure it can be used during the summer.
