Detectives are appealing for information following a robbery in Hampshire.
The incident occurred between 1.30pm and 2pm in the underpass between Holbrook Road and Bradford Road that runs beneath Winston Churchill Avenue in Portsmouth on January 17.
The victim, a 42-year-old woman, had been to Commercial Road to draw out money from her bank.
She then walked along Arundel Road and into Holbrook Road before entering the underpass.
She passed a man stood in the underpass who pushed her into a wall causing a graze to her chin.
He then pulled her bag from her shoulder before running away in the direction of Bradford Road.
The suspect is described as:
• White man
• 17 to 20-years-old
• Wearing a black hoodie with a two inch grey stripe down the sides, blue or black jogging bottoms and dark trainers.
There may have been a second man involved in the incident. He was wearing dark clothes with his hood up.
Detective Constable David Higgins from Fratton CID said: “I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or may have seen two men running from the underpass with a handbag.”
