THE inquest into the death of a man who fell over at a Hampshire recycling centre will be resumed this week.
Bruce Norton-Amor, 85, a widower from Romsey, was at the Household Waste Recycling Centre, in Bunny Lane, Timsbury, when he fell backwards while climbing concrete steps and hit his head.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital following the incident on October 10, but died the next day. The possible cause of death was given as intracranial haemorrhage and a fractured skull.
Because the fall happened at a recycling centre, it has been classified as an industrial accident. The inquest will take place in Winchester tomorrow.
