WITH all the paperwork, appointments and responsibilities, it is easy to see why Lymington mayor Jacqueline England might want a little rest and recuperation time.
But rather than a sunshine break or a visit to an exclusive spa, she chose somewhere a bit closer to home – Belmore Lodge care home in Lymington.
The home has an innovative multi-sensory sun spa, and for three-days it was open to the public to raise money for the Lymington RNLI lifeboat station.
During her pampering, Cllr England was treated to a manicure and massage. She said: “It was amazing. For anyone who may be worried about the idea of going into a care home, if they could come and have this experience it would alleviate their fears.”
