A SOUTHAMPTON man appeared in court, accused of attempted armed robbery.
Keith Laider, 36, of Richmond Road, Shirley, was charged with attempting to rob a convenience shop in Longstock Crescent, Totton, and possessing a black Beretta BB gun as an imitation firearm.
Recorder Nigel Lickley QC was told there would be no application for bail. Laider was remanded to appear before Winchester Crown Court in March for a plea and case management hearing.
